Earlier this summer, Wilkinson Companies Sales Engineer Danny R. had the opportunity to attend the Autoflame Combustion Conference in Jekyll Island, Georgia. The five-day event brought together combustion industry leaders and partners from around the world, creating a dynamic space for collaboration, learning, and innovation.
A Week of Learning and Collaboration
The conference was packed with presentations and discussions that covered everything from sales strategies to cutting-edge technology.
- The week kicked off with Autoflame Sales Presentations from Steve Kemp and his team, offering valuable insight into the latest equipment and sales approaches.
- Next, Limpsfield Sales Presentations led by Keith Knowles provided a deep dive into burner technology and solutions.
- The final day featured Tech Center Roundtable Discussions and Case Studies, showcasing real-world success stories from across the globe.
Autoflame also shared updates on key industry topics such as hydrogen, low NOx burners, and new fuel efficiency calculation methods. Tech Centres from North America, South Africa, Colombia, and Puerto Rico all joined the conversation, making it a truly international event.
Highlighting Wilkinson’s Work
One of the week’s highlights was Danny’s presentation on Wilkinson’s boiler plant upgrade at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. The project showcased the use of both Autoflame and Limpsfield technologies and emphasized Wilkinson’s long-standing relationship with Justin Ferbert, Director of Engineering Facilities at NWH.
“It was a great opportunity to meet so many people in the industry and to reconnect with Autoflame and Limpsfield,” Danny shared. “The conference was a fantastic refresher on their equipment and gave me the chance to learn new sales strategies from real-world situations. I’m very glad I was given the opportunity to attend.”
